Summer Blind is the second studio album by Marian Renta, and the first album released through her imprint label Smashroom Records . Released digitally on April 11, 2025, and on limited edition vinyl on November 21, 2025, the album was initially slated for release in the summer of 2024 but succumbed to creative delays amid scheduling and marketing conflicts. The album's lead single and music video, "Body", was released on August 23, 2024, and was followed up with "Let Me In", released October 4, 2024.

The early 2020s were wounds and lessons in Renta's life, and as the midway point of the decade took center stage, Renta entereda new phase in her life marked by full autonomy, self awareness, and triumph over demons that plagued her as a youth and young adult.  The 9-track symphony of alt. R&B-inflected Pop plays out like the aftermath of a war. Engergetic and gritty,  "Summer Blind" still manages to reserve places among its energetic soundscape for soft, vulnerable tracks like "Human Need", a nod to the Israel-Hamas war, and the ambient "Detox". The album is a dynamic and well-rounded body of work that encapsulates the arc of an artist who triumphed over heartbreak, codependence, and fear of expression.
